Episode Notes

Kofa Pioneer Trail
The Kofa Pioneer trail is a 243 mile overland route through the Sonoran Desert outside of Quartzsite, AZ.  We recommend setting aside 4-6 days of total driving time to take in the full desert experience.   The complete route guide can be found at www.OverlandTrailGuides.com .

John Liotti is based in the Santa Cruz Mountains of Northern California and joined OTG on the trip just before the Thanksgiving Holiday.  We talk to John about his take on Kofa, and traveling the area in his bone-stock Toyota Tacoma.  Spoiler alert, he's getting sliders and a fridge as a result of his trip to Kofa!
